Setting Up Our Campsite

Our campsite had two tents and all eight of us were involved. We made two teams of four, but in the end, as soon as one team figured something out, they taught what they learned to the other team. This made building our campsite much more effective. And I’d like to say that honestly, none of us had a clue how to build a campsite, so when we finally did it, I was very PROUD of all of us!  

Also, after were finished building our campsite, I felt like a real camper! It felt good and this surprised me, because as everyone knows I don’t like the outdoors or getting dirty, but I really liked the feel of our campsite and my camping adventure.

This was our campsite. It took a lot of time for us to build our campsite, but luckily the rain stopped long enough for us to build it. This was a great team project. Everyone was so helpful. We all felt really good that through our concerted efforts, we could accomplish this task. I also realized how much easier and more fun it is to do things when we work together.  I was also impressed with our endeavor, because we had the biggest campsite in the whole campsite! And because Erik taught us how to waterproof our campsite, we also had the driest!!!!!
